Fall Semester is Here!
We hope you are enjoying the Fall Semester and getting settled-in to your classes. Here are a few things to look for throughout Fall Semester:
Friday, September 3rd – College Choir Sing Fling! (College Choir Kick-off) We will have a free dinner at 6pm in Room N108 and we will then enjoy at time of worship/singing afterwards. We’ll go through several new songs and kick-off our semester of college choir.
Thursday, September 16th – Girls Night Out! Jenn will be treating the girls to a night out…check back for more details.
College Venture – Friday-Sunday (October 29-31). This is our big college weekend in the Fall Semester. College students will be split up into co-ed groups of about 10-11 and placed in various homes within the church. We will be going through C.J. Mahaney’s book The Cross Centered Life that weekend and you will not only have ample small group discussions, but you will also interact with several families within the church. This is a dynamic weekend and one that will only help you get more grounded in the Word and connected with others at Lakeview. The cost is $20 and it includes a copy of C.J. Mahaney’s book.
